Participation at the 22nd European Athlete as Student (EAS) Conference

Our team took part in the 22nd European Athlete as Student (EAS) Conference in Riga on 6–8 October 2025, organised by the EAS network and hosted by the University of Latvia. The programme convened stakeholders from across Europe, including representatives of EACEA, ENGSO, FISU, the Latvian Olympic Committee, the Latvian Universities Sports Federation, and Latvia’s Ministry of Education and Science.

As part of the programme, we presented our Erasmus+ project through the talk “Advancing Athlete Employability through Career Mentorship and Education.” We outlined our mentorship- and education-based approach to student-athlete employability—covering mentor matching, skills development modules, career transition support, and employer engagement—together with early insights from implementation.

We appreciated the opportunity to exchange ideas with 80+ delegates from 17 countries and thank the EAS network and the University of Latvia for their efforts in bringing the community together.
